Where is the default username and password located?
It is usually located on the back of your modem. However, some manufacturers may include it in the user manual. It often uses IP addresses 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.0.1.
The user of these addresses can be admin/password, while some router manufacturers may set a special password. Internet service providers identify these passwords with ‘their brand name’. For example : Starlink can define a special IP to a protocol of its own (such as admin/starlink or starlink/starlink).
Find Modem Password without Reset
If you ask if it is possible to find a password for your modem or router without pressing the reset button on the back, yes, it is. However, this requires advanced technical knowledge. A Linux-based program provides this, but it is a very long-term job.
